Texoma doesn't do anything halfway, and the Fourth of July is no exception. Whether you want a full concert experience, a boat out on the lake, or just a blanket and a good view, there's a show for every kind of Fourth around here. Here's your cheat sheet so you can plan your weekend without scrolling five different Facebook pages:
🎸 Thursday, July 2 — Sherman: Lights on the Lake 2026. Pecan Grove Park West. Gates open 4:00 PM, Collective Soul takes the stage at 7:30 PM, fireworks at 9:30 PM.
🚤 Friday, July 3 — Lake Texoma: Shake the Lake. All day celebration around the lake with boating, live music, and food. Fireworks over the water after dark.
🏈 Saturday, July 4 — Denison: 39th Annual 4th of July Celebration. Munson Stadium & Forest Park. Gates open 5:00 PM, live music at 7:30 PM, fireworks at dusk.
🚚 Saturday, July 4 — Pottsboro: America 250! Fest. Pottsboro Church of Christ parking lot, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Family activities, kids games, and live music celebrating America's 250th birthday.
🌅 Saturday, July 4 — Pottsboro: Lakeside Fireworks Viewing. Tanglewood Resort, gates open 6:00 PM. Bring your chairs and enjoy the view over the lake, fireworks at dusk.

🎆 Denison's 39th Annual 4th of July Celebration — Munson Stadium & Forest Park, Denison. Saturday, July 4, gates open 5:00 PM, fireworks at dusk. Free, family friendly, and the biggest fireworks show on this side of Texoma this year for America's 250th.
🏃 Firecracker Trek Sherman — Downtown Sherman. Saturday, July 4, 7:30 AM. A 5K and 10K to kick off your holiday the active way, then go celebrate the rest of the day guilt free.
🥂 Landon Winery Music Bingo — Landon Winery, Denison. Saturday, July 4, 7:00 PM. Wine, live music, and bingo. A great low-key date night option before or after fireworks.
🥕 Sherman Farmers Market — Downtown Sherman (Houston & Crockett). Saturday, July 4, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Local produce, meat, eggs, and baked goods from Texoma growers and makers.
⭐ Pick of the Week: Denison's 4th of July Celebration is the one to build your day around. It's free, it's massive, and with America's 250th this year the city is going all out. Bring the blankets, grab dinner from one of the downtown Denison spots first, and settle in for a show.
